My Next President
It has been 19 years since I first voted and this is the only time in those years have I ever been more proud and honored to cast a vote for someone who I think will be one of the greatest Presidents the United States has ever had. One who I believe will bring back pride, honor, dignity, understanding, communication and a self of belonging to so many who have been without it for so long. It’s not just about us any longer, it’s about everyone and everything.
There was a reason why the “Founding Fathers” put a term limit on those who hold the Presidency and that reason reared it’s ugly head for the past 8 years. Nothing can be done to change the past but my vote means that something can be done to change today and tomorrow.
I will vote not out of fear but out of promise. I will not vote for slander but for truth. I will not vote for hate but for empathy. I will not vote for color but for prosperity. I will not vote for a specific class but for a mixing pot. I will not vote for just making history but will vote for the future.
