The Poetry of Hafiz-e Shirazi

Even after all this time the sun never says to the earth, “you owe me.”
Look what happens with a love like that, it lights the whole sky.

Very little credible information is know about Hafiz’s life, particularly its early part. Immediately after his death, many stories, some of mythical proportions were woven around his life. Link
