The Art of Chewed Gum
It’s been 17 years since I finished my first piece of GumArt, but I can not recall GumArt’s beginning. The “primordial soup” of GumArt exists in my earliest memories. It’s made up of a love for gum, the idea that nothing loved should be thrown away, and, as William Faulkner put it, the desire “…to create out of the materials of the human spirit something which did not exist before”. Chocolate Birds Nests
I remember making these in kindergarten, and haven’t had them since. Why?? I love them so. It’s just shredded wheat, crushed, with melted milk chocolate chips poured over. They are so stinkin’ good! Little malt ball eggs are added as a garnish. Link
