Fly By Night - Copyright Ken Wong

My name is Ken Wong, I’m an artist/illustrator/designer from Adelaide, Australia. I currently work as an Art Director at a computer game studio called Spicy Horse, in Shanghai.

I’ve done visualisation and art direction work for a range of clients, mostly in the games industry. I have spoken at the Animex Animation and Games festival in the UK and the Red Stick Festival in Baton Rouge. My work has appeared in the Spectrum and Exposé art annuals and a handful of magazines.

All my art is digital, although often it begins as a pencil sketch. I use Adobe Photoshop for everything. Link

The Art of Angela Fraleigh

Untitled - Copyright Angela Fraliegh

Questioning social constructs of beauty, class, gender and role play I am interested in the complications of desire, what power people have available to them and how they use that power. These images serve as a means of escape from one’s personal histories but also provides a space to question these idealistic scenarios. Drawing on dramatic moments from literature and framing the romantic stereotypes that are created these images are complicated by obscured power structures. Ambiguity conceals where authority lies in these familiar images disrupting our understanding of these hackneyed relationships while bringing into the foreground the continual power struggles still fueling our political, social and intimate relationships. The Art of Phil Blank

Comstock Load - Copyright Phil Blank

Comstock Lode

Goodbye Virginia City
And these tall Nevada pines
I’ll marry my soul to a ghost town
When I lay me down to die

Wisht I had a copper coin
For all the gold I’ve known
I’d trade it all to a highwayman
For a half a pint of rum

This old gold has took my soul
And left me for the tomb
I spent my last nickel on a whiskey still
What else would a miner do?

All I got’s this old grey mule
Two blankets & some rum
She rode me all the way to Reno
I’ll trade her for a pistol gun

Goodbye Virginia City
And these tall Nevada pines
I’ll marry my soul to a ghost town

Even though my son was born with a some-what large head which he gets from his big brained dad Phil Blank seems to be fixated on painting humans and animals alike with them as well. His art is quite imaginative and dreamy but also dabbles on the line of delusional. To top it off, Phil also has some excellent writing to go along with some of the paintings. Link

Happy Girl Painting - Copyright Robin Winn

Robin says, “When I paint, my 25 years in the healing arts are temporarily set aside as I shift my focus from being present for the world of another to focus on my own world and the moment that calls to me. In this meeting I awaken to the galactic explosion of being…”. Link
